Neeta Sane
Trustee
HCC District VII

As a business entrepreneur, wife, and mother, Neeta Sane takes the task of making impactful, significant contributions to society very seriously. That coupled with her commitment to public service has made her a strong advocate for many projects with which she is involved.

In 2007, Neeta was elected to serve on the Board of Trustees of Houston Community College (HCC) and in 2013 was elected for her second six-year term. In 2014, she was elected to serve as HCC Board Chair, where she judiciously ensured systematic progress of the $425 million bond program and provided thorough oversight of the budgetary process.

Neeta grew up in India with tremendous respect for America. To give back some of the blessings and opportunities that this country gave, Neeta combined her academic training with her passion, to help her fellow citizens become well prepared and productive members of society.
