Cathy Fraser
SVP, Human Resources
Tenet Healthcare Corporation

Cathy Fraser serves as the senior vice president of human resources of Tenet Healthcare Corporation and serves on the company’s executive leadership team. In her position, she sets the direction for the company’s people strategy, and provides operational oversight for the human resources organization. Her scope includes talent, culture, recruiting, compensation and benefits, labor relations, HR services, and HR operations. She is the executive sponsor of the company’s sustainability and diversity work. Fraser reports directly to Trevor Fetter, Tenet’s president and chief executive officer.

Prior to joining Tenet, Fraser served as a management consultant with McKinsey & Co., Inc. In that role, Fraser counseled senior executives at a number of large companies on organizational design, talent management and retention strategies, recruiting and related human resources topics.

Prior to her work with McKinsey, Fraser served as vice president of Sabre Holdings, a major provider of travel product distribution and technology solutions for the travel industry. At Sabre, her responsibilities included planning, strategy, finance and marketing.

Prior to her work at Sabre Holdings, Fraser was a finance manager and analyst for AMR Corp., the parent corporation of American Airlines, in Fort Worth, Texas. From 1986 to 1991, she was a financial analyst for General Motors Acceptance Corp. in Detroit, Mich.

Fraser earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Washington and her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan. She is the chairman of Workforce Solutions of Greater Dallas, a director of the Board Connection, a member of the Board of Trustees of American Association for Cancer Research Foundation, an associate director of Financial Partners Credit Union, a member of Women’s Corporate Directors, and a member of the Dallas Summit. She is actively involved in various HR associations and communities nationally and in the Dallas area.
