Valerie Freeman is the founder and CEO of Dallas-based Imprimis Group, a leading supplier of staffing, search, human resources and outsourcing services. Valerie’s companies operate under the brand names, Imprimis Staffing and Search, BravoTech, FreemanLeonard, Human Capital Solutions and Third Party Pay. The companies operate nationally and over the years have received Inc. 500/5000 awards, Dallas 100 awards and WPO Fast 50 awards.

Valerie is also a founder and Board member of ANSERTEAM, LLC, a national managed service workforce solutions provider and Texas Women Ventures which makes investments in women owned and led companies. She is also one of the founder of PrimeWomen.com, an online magazine with content for women over the age of 50. She serves on the Advisory Council of the Alliance of Technology and Women and received their Lifetime Achievement Award. She also serves on the Senior Advisory Council of the Women’s Business Council of the Southwest where she received the Women’s Business Enterprise of the Year Award. She has been the recipient of the Tech Titans Community Hero Award, Athena Award from the Dallas Regional Chamber, the Woman of Distinction Award from the Girls Scouts, the Maura Award from the Dallas Women’s Foundation and the Outstanding Business Leader Award from Northwood University. She has been honored by the Dallas Business Journal as one of the 25 most influential women in business and DCEO Dallas 500 in 2016. In 2011 she was inducted into the WBE Hall of Fame. Past awards include Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and NAWBO’s National Business Owner of the Year.

She is the past chair of the boards of the DCCCD Foundation and the Girl Scouts of NE Texas. She has just wrapped up a 7-year Director role with The Dallas Foundation having served on the Audit Committee. She is currently on the board of the North Dallas Chamber and is a member of YPO (YPO Gold), Executive Women’s Roundtable, Dallas Assembly, International Women’s Forum and Dallas Summit.

Valerie holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education from the University of Houston where she was honored as Distinguished Alum.
