Pranika has been in training and development for over sixteen years. She worked as an environmental engineer for five years before transitioning into Human Resources and Training. In previous roles, Pranika has been an HR and Training Consultant, and facilitated numerous workshops and classes during her career on various topics including communication, diversity, performance management, leadership, and emotional intelligence. She joined Oxy in 2011 and her primary focus includes managing Oxy’s professional development and training, designing and delivering leadership development programs, coaching leaders, change management, team building, and employee engagement/culture. Pranika has a passion for educating and developing people at all levels, from individual contributors to senior executives. Because of her keen interest in mentoring and developing women, Pranika started the women’s network at Oxy in 2013.

Pranika holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University in Environmental Engineering and an MBA from Rice University, Jones School of Business. She is an active member of the Texas Diversity Council and is former President of the local Gulf Coast Chapter. Pranika received a DiversityFIRST award in 2010 for her support of diversity and inclusion in the community and workplace, and a Multicultural Leadership award in 2015. She is a graduate of Leadership Houston, Class XXXIV. Pranika resides in Houston with her husband and two daughters. She is an avid amateur photographer and cook, and also occasionally writes for a local blog, bigkidsmallcity.com.
