Program Manager, Culture and Inclusion

Simply stated, Philip’s passion is people. Whether it’s meeting new people in his travels across the country, acclimating early career professionals in the corporate world, or bridging the gap between cultures at work, Philip is always looking for ways to connect with people from all walks of life. His passion for developing people and shaping culture began in undergrad as an INROADS intern in Washington DC. He credits INROADS for exposing him to the importance of intentional mentorship in the development of early career professionals and the benefit that developing an ethnically diverse workforce provides to corporations.

He leveraged this experience to begin a career in Human Resources with a focus on developing comprehensive university recruiting strategies and managing university recruiting teams for major corporations. Always striving for excellence, Philip has built university programs that were recognized as some of the best in the Dallas Fort-Worth area, and led a team that was awarded one of the "Top 15 Financial Services Internships" in the country by Vault Magazine.

Now, Philip serves as a Program Manager for Culture and Inclusion at global cybersecurity leader, McAfee, where he helps builds strategy and execute on the company's diversity and inclusion goals and overall culture initiatives. Philip is a graduate of the University of Maryland-College Park, and has also completed coursework towards his Master's at Dallas Theological Seminary, and was one of 75 persons selected for Harvard University's Summer Venture in Management Program (SVMP), 2001.

In his free time, Philip enjoys consulting organizations on effective ways to build college recruiting strategies, spending time with his "ladies" (his beautiful wife and two beautiful 5 and 7 year old daughter’s), cheering on Lebron and his hometown Cavs, or trying to get un-stuck from the “tree” position at his nearby yoga studio.
