Michelle Easton is an Assistant Vice President at USAA with more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Her career started as a Financial Planner, facilitating the financial security of USAA members. From there, she stepped into leadership and has been driving major initiatives resulting in operational and performance improvements. In her current role, Michelle leads the CEO Member Relations team. Her team works across USAA business units to ensure a collaborative and disciplined approach for addressing consumer and regulatory complaints, as well as executive correspondence, with the ultimate goal of exceptional customer experience and advocacy, and actionable insights to the business.
Michelle earned her BBA in finance from the University of Texas at Austin and her MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM) practitioner and is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified. She also is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, Chartered Financial Consultant, Certified Product Manager and Certified Product Marketing Manager.
Michelle believes in giving back to the community and has been mentoring high school students for over 10 years. She is a member of the CFP Board Women's Initiative, United Way Women United, and Emerging Leaders Council.
Michelle feels blessed to have an amazing husband and 2 girls (ages 10 and 13) that keep her very busy. She enjoys watching college football, snow skiing, cooking, canning her own salsa, and fitness (boot camp, kickboxing, dance, and yoga).
