Jerry Guerrero is the Director of Diversity & Inclusion at Hines, a privately owned global real estate investment, development and management firm, with a presence in 201 cities in 21 countries and $100 billion of assets under management. He is a multitalented professional with more than eighteen years combined consulting and industry experience focused on achieving business objectives through effective diversity and inclusion, talent management, and change management strategies. He has worked across multiple industries with global and multi-national companies.
Prior to joining Hines, Jerry held a number of roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) from 2006 to 2017, including Houston Market Diversity Leader and management consultant in the Human Capital Services and Technology practices. As Diversity Leader, he was a trusted advisor to market leadership across PwC Houston, and he executed the market diversity plan to promote early success strategies, retention, career advancement and flexibility. Similarly, he advised executives at several companies to successfully plan and execute strategies in support of significant business transformations as a management consultant. His change management strategies accelerated adoption and increased ownership by focusing on human capital.
From 1999 to 2006, Jerry worked in various finance and accounting roles across Houston at JPMorgan Chase, KPMG, and BancCorp Capital. Most notably, this period included performing full cycle accounting to prepare financial statements for clients across the globe and stabilizing the trust department of a multi-billion dollar service corporation headquartered in Houston.
Jerry earned a BBA in Finance at the University of Houston, Main Campus, and an MBA with a concentration in Accounting at the University of St. Thomas, Houston. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in Texas.
