Jennifer Carmichael is The Senior Director of Talent Acquisition and Talent Marketing for Capital One leading the recruiting, hiring and onboarding efforts across the Financial Services organization.
Jennifer is a Certified Diversity Recruiter, Certified Professional Resume Writer, Certified Employment Interview Professional, Certified Career and Executive Coach with over 15 years of recruiting and leadership experience.
She has worked across several sectors including healthcare, telecommunications, retail, oil & gas, defense, banking, financial and consulting services successfully placing interns, new graduates, experienced professionals and executives in Fortune 1000 companies around the globe. Jennifer has worked in both staffing agency and corporate environments supporting public and privately held companies. She has experience building recruiting programs from the ground up and leading large fast paced talent acquisition and university relations organizations. Jennifer served as the youngest member of the Executive HR Leadership for North America with a Global Fortune 300 company prior to joining Capital One.
Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Communications from the University of Kansas and a Master Certificate in Human Resources from Cornell University.
When she is not working, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, Ben, traveling internationally, gardening and relaxing at home with their three rescue dogs, Brodie, Barkley and Finley.
