Dylan Raymond is a Military to civilian transition expert and currently serves as Shell Military Recruitment Lead. Dylan is referred as bilingual because he is fluent in speaking, reading, writing both military and corporate speak. Dylan is a passionate coach, mentor, consultant to internal, external, military, and corporate stakeholders.
In this role he conduct outreach within the military community and focus on increasing Shell Military pipeline for the future. He delivers Military talent to Shell for Experienced Professional, Operations and Maintenance and recent Graduate roles at facilities across North America.
Dylan is a certified Professional in Human Resources and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of Maryland. Dylan has a distinguished 25+ year Army career which includes 2 overseas combat deployments. He held 2 of the most challenging roles in the Army, a Drill Sergeant and Field Recruiter in NYC during 9/11. He rose to the Senior enlisted rank of Master Sergeant before his appointment to the rank of Warrant Officer in 2006. Dylan is the author of Rucksack to Briefcase a Military to Civilian transition guide for service members and their families and Amazon bestselling book titled Put Me in Coach, Vol 1.
Dylan is the recipient of several leadership awards, which include the General McArthur award, Reserve Officer Outstanding Warrant Officer of the year, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Volunteer of the year, and Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.
Dylan is active in the military community and serve as a Board member of Texas Military Forces Support Foundation. He is an avid cyclist and has traveled as far as Jamaica, WI to cycle.
Dylan is the proud husband to Dr. Trenice Raymond and father to 4 lovely girls and papa to grandson Jalen.
