Chinten Parikh is the Senior Director of Inclusion and Outreach for Topgolf within the Human Resources department.
Parikh is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of inclusion activities for Topgolf including: related to diversity and inclusion and cultural competencies, including:
- Organizational inclusion
- Diversity recruiting strategy
- Education in cultural competency and awareness
- Diversity mentoring and professional development
- Community outreach
He also is responsible for compliance reporting, workforce diversity gap analysis and oversees development of practices that help attract and retain a diverse and inclusive workforce to foster a respectful work environment. Parikh partners with internal and external leaders to enhance the image of golf.
Before joining Topgolf, Parikh formerly was the Assistant Vice Chancellor for the University of North Texas System, which employs about 15,000 employees. He established the foundation for a system-wide diversity and inclusion strategy. He was also responsible for policies, training and investigations related to discrimination, harassment (including sexual misconduct).
Prior, Parikh was the Senior Consultant for Diversity, Compliance and Cultural Competency at Baylor Scott & White Health Care System, Dallas, which includes about 34,000 employees in 500 locations. Duties included creation of diversity strategies to support change management and organizational effectiveness; affirmative action planning; cultural competency management; executive diversity programs.
Parikh also was manager of workplace diversity and development at DFW International Airport, and director of diversity and people development at Accor North America, a global hospitality and hotel corporation headquartered in Carrollton. He also has been national director of training for the Job Corps National Training Institute in Dallas.
Parikh received a bachelor’s degree in organizational psychology from Louisiana State University and an MBA in organizational development from American Intercontinental University. He also has completed doctoral courses at the University of Houston and Xavier University, New Orleans.
He holds the senior professional certification from the Society for Human Resources Management, the world’s largest organization for human resources management; the certified diversity professional designation from the National Diversity Council, and is a certified harassment prevention trainer, diversity trainer and mentoring facilitator.
Parikh also serves on the State Board of Directors and on the Advisory Board of the Texas Diversity Council and on the HR Executive board for North Texas Leaders and Executives Advocating Diversity. He is also affiliated with the Higher Education Recruiting Consortium, Dallas Human Resources Management Association and the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce.
