Eric Carlos is Vice President and Head of New Equipment Sales for The Americas, both North and South, of Dresser Rand (DR), A Siemens Business.
He is responsible for the sale of all Power and Gas Compression products to the O&G Market, Upstream, Midstream and Downstream.
This includes all Gas Turbine based Generator and Compressor sets, Electrical Motor driven Centrifugal and Reciprocating compression based solutions for both, land based installations and offshore Platforms and FPSO vessels. He has lead the DR-Siemens integration in The Americas and currently member of product steering committee for Gas Turbines and Compressors.
Mr. Carlos joined Dresser-Rand in August 2015 and was previously at Solar Turbines Inc. where he held various positions of increasing responsibility in Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Service, for 25 years, in Europe, Asia including his latest role as Managing Director, Latin America.
Mr. Carlos grew up in both Mexico and USA; holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of California, San Diego, and a Masters in Business Administration from The University of Miami.
He enjoys outdoor sports, skiing, running and hiking and lives with his wife and two daughters in Houston, USA.
