Sudhir Pai is the Managing Director and founding member of Liquid Robotics Oil and Gas (LROG), a joint venture with Schlumberger. Based in Houston, Texas, he is responsible for the joint venture’s worldwide business, setting and executing its vision. In June 2015, he was promoted to the board of LROG.
Prior to his current responsibilities, he held a variety of management leadership positions with Schlumberger, including vice president and general manager of Completions and general manager of Schlumberger operations in Mumbai, India. His more than 30 years of worldwide oilfield services experience include positions in corporate planning, supply chain, human resources, service quality, and health, safety, and environment.
Sudhir holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from University of Bombay. He is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Geoscientists organizations (EAGE and SEG) and DeepStar® technology development program for deepwater. Sudhir is a Technical Steering Committee member for the Clean Gulf Conference and Exhibition and a Program Committee member for the Arctic Technology Conference, an Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) event.
