Dr. Kirby is currently the Senior Manager of Recruitment for CPS Energy, where he is accountable for rebuilding the organization’s recruiting team and developing key processes, which enable current and long-term success for talent acquisition. In addition, he and his team are currently implementing a new applicant tracking system. His previous role with the organization was Strategic Research & Innovation Manager where he led research efforts focused on electric vehicles, compressed natural gas vehicles and the required infrastructure for these alternative vehicles. He is also an Adjunct Professor at St. Mary’s University in the Engineering Department, where he teaches Engineering Systems Management.
Dr. Kirby holds a PhD in Organizational Management, a Master of Science degree in Engineering Systems Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems. He has also completed multiple certification programs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the area of Technology and Innovation.
