Texas Talent Summit

Talent Life Cycle: The Dynamics of Attracting, Recruiting, Developing & Retaining a Talented & Diverse Workforce

April 22, 2009
10:00 am - 4:30 pm

Agenda

In business, there are “nice to do” activities and “must do” activities. In the throes of economic turbulence leaders must now position organizations to be able to attract a talented and diverse workforce to remain competitive.

Advances in strategic diversity, and thought leadership warrant a paradigm shift where the organizations’ focus is on systemic wholeness, rather than independent analysis and separation of components. This is integral to talent management, and necessary to attract, recruit, develop, and retain a talented and diverse workforce.

During the Inaugural Texas Talent Summit, you will hear learn from a panel of experts in human resources, branding, recruiting, executive placement, operations, and diversity about how they are developing business strategies to drive down costs; including those associated with process improvement and talent management.

In a series of interactive learning sessions, participants will further explore what every professional engaged in the talent lifecycle should know, and proven strategies to overcome this complex business challenge.

For some things in life, it really is about “who you know”.  But when it comes to talent, it’s about "what you know” (practical solutions), and “how you use it” (modes of execution)! (Senior Executive)
