About the Scholarship Program

The purpose of Texas Diversity & Leadership Conference scholarship is to recognize achievement in scholastics, leadership potential, and initiative to make students aware of the potential for success through the continued pursuit of higher education.
 
The Texas Diversity & Leadership Conference’s goal is to award ten $2000 scholarships good toward attending a four year accredited college or university to assist selected students with tuition, fees, books, and on-campus room and board. The scholarship is only open to students that will be full-time traditional college freshman entering a four year college or university for the first time in the 2008-2009 school year.

Recipients of the scholarships will be recognized during the scholarship dinner.

We are pleased to announce the names of our 2008 scholarship recipients. Each will be recognized and presented with a $2,000.00 scholarship award at the Scholarship Dinner on the evening of May 15th during the upcoming 4th Annual Diversity & Leadership Dinner.
