It is our pleasure to welcome you to the 6th Annual Texas Diversity and Leadership Conference. As the nation’s and the state’s demographics, and the very definition of diversity as it relates to the workplace, have evolved over the last few decades, it’s become increasingly important for us, as America's leading public and private organizations, to come together to share best-practices and learn from those who are taking leadership positions in the field.

And so, we applaud the Texas Diversity Council – and you, as a dedicated attendee of this year’s conference – for committing to creating and participating in a forum where we all can further our learning and understanding of the issues and concerns that organizations and individuals face today, as well as celebrate the successes of those who have risen above the crowd in their commitment to diversity.

The conference committee, under the leadership of Dennis Kennedy, have built another very strong program for this year’s conference, aimed at helping us all develop stronger diversity practices within our respective organizations, and share our various perspectives, concerns, and successes.
