¡Bienvenido! ¡Bienvenida!
Welcome to the Second Annual Texas Hispanic/Latino Summit

Hispanics are the fastest-growing ethnic group in the United States. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Hispanics constitute 15 percent of the nation’s total population and Texas is home to 8.4 million Hispanics representing 36 percent of the state population.

The Hispanic/Latino Summit will provide a forum to discuss challenges and opportunities facing the Latino community in Texas. This year’s theme is Latinos at a Crossroads: Forging a Legacy Together. We will focus on overarching issues including immigration, education and leadership.

We are inspired by the work of the Texas Diversity Council and its goal to promote diversity in the workplace and the community. We invite you to join us at this year’s Texas Hispanic/Latino Summit as we engage in a constructive dialogue to continue to advance Latino voices in our state.

Cordialmente,
